Lest We Forget The Other – Chinese and Indian Experience in WW1

25 Nov 2018 – 25 Mar 2018

A new temporary exhibition highlighting the service of Chinese and Indian New Zealanders in the First World War is showing at The Great War Exhibition from 25 November – 25 March 2018.

The roles played by Chinese and Indian New Zealanders in World War One are not only stories of individuals and their military service, but stories of marginalised communities contributing to the war effort, despite sometimes intense and open racism.

Lest We Forget – The Other tells these stories, which are as diverse as the soldiers themselves.

The closing date may be subject to change.
