About The Exhibition
The Great War Exhibition is open until November 2018 at Wellington’s historic Dominion Museum Building within the beautiful Pukeahu National War Memorial Park.
The Great War Exhibition is open daily from 9am – 6pm, closed Christmas day.
Entry into The Great War Exhibition is $15 for adults. Children 16 years and under are no charge.
Guided tours are available between 9.30am – 4.30pm and last approximately 45 minutes.
Wheelchairs – The Exhibition has full wheelchair access and complimentary wheelchairs for visitors to use, subject to availability.
Prams and strollers – are allowed in the exhibition subject to capacity and health and safety requirements.
Special assistance – Should you need assistance viewing the Exhibition, please contact us in advance for advice.
Parking – Pay and display car parking is available outside the entrance.
Things to note:
- No food or drink is allowed within the Exhibition.
- We welcome photography but in the interests of safety and comfort for all visitors we ask that no flash is used within the exhibition and only hand-held cameras are used.
- Management have the right to refuse entry to any persons entering the premises or remove anyone when there is reasonable grounds to do so.

Guided Tour (includes admission)
Make the Exhibition come alive with one of our knowledgeable tour guides. A guided tour takes approximately 45 minutes and will greatly enrich your visit to The Great War Exhibition. We run tours frequently so you won’t have to wait long and there’s lots to look at while you wait.
